The Comprehensive Plan Project is expected to be completed by July of 2024. The primary socpe of work inlcudes three major tasks: 1) Develop a new Comprehensive Plan to guide land use and development decisions throughout unincorporated Cherokee County in compliance with state law; 2) Draft Zoning Regulations focused on economic growth corridors and prepare updates to the Land Development Regulations; 3) Prepare a Zoning Implementation Plan.
